Contrary to speculation, reports suggest the BCCI hasn't moved on from Rohit Sharma -- Lord's is being framed as his biggest test yet, not a farewell.

According to reports, the Lord's ODI is not Rohit Sharma's last appearance for India. The framing being pushed back on isn't that the BCCI has moved past him -- it's that this match is simply his biggest test yet.
The stakes are still real, though: a poor showing would make it significantly harder for him to stay ahead of Yashasvi Jaiswal in the pecking order. All that's being asked of him is to perform at Lord's -- this isn't being treated as a retirement match.
